If you are new to these kinds of systems I recommend you get the printed manuals. The Getting Started Wizard can help you become familiar with the system quickly. It includes integrated help and video tutorials and will help you set up your store; enter license information; enter taxes, departments, vendors, and products; and set up your registers and POS hardware. Even though there are very good video tutorials on the Retail ICE CD to help you learn the software it is also helpful to have the printed manuals to refer to. There is a LOT packed into this software. This software is an incredible value but it won’t do you any good if you don’t learn how to use it properly.
